Help Protect Critical Federal Funding
As an attorney volunteer with the Fund Protection Clinic, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding billions of dollars in federal investments that are currently at risk. Your expertise can help ensure that these vital funds reach the communities they were intended to benefit.
The Challenge
We have already seen numerous attacks on the billions of dollars and other federal investments in environmental justice, health and human services, social services and more —disproportionately impacting funds earmarked for underserved communities, nonprofits, and Tribal government agencies. Despite court orders protecting these funds, many grantees continue to face funding delays, improper terminations, and potential investigations.
How You Can Help
The Fund Protection Clinic connects pro bono attorneys with grantees who need legal guidance to navigate federal funding challenges. Your expertise in administrative law, government contracts, compliance, or investigations can make a critical difference for organizations on the frontlines. If you don’t have experience in these areas, we provide extensive training and supervision.
