  1. The Climate Program Portal offers a dashboard for tracking IRA and BIL funding by sector and agency, as well as a directory of technical assistance opportunities and a resource library.

  2. The Inflation Reduction Act Tracker tracks actions taken by federal agencies to implement IRA provisions, including funding announcements.

  3. The Justice40 Accelerator's Resource Hub provides a wide array of resources to help you navigate federal opportunities for environmental justice work.

Funding Specifically for Environmental Justice Communities

For the first time in US history, a portion of federal environmental funding opportunities are available exclusively for environmental justice, or "disadvantaged" communities. Use these resources and the fact sheets and search tools above to explore whether your community is eligible for this funding and find suggestions on how government partners can effectively partner with overburdened communities.

L4GG's Disadvantaged Communities (DAC) Report can help community organizations, governments, and policymakers identify "disadvantaged communities" as they implement relevant federal requirements and state-level policy efforts related to environmental justice.

Governments seeking to partner with disadvantaged communities can use this toolkit to assist them in developing effective relationships within these communities.
